Touchwood Trees would like to draw your attention to a local
drop off point for tree surgery and forestry arisings.
Our aim is to recycle and reuse.
We buy all wood, trunks and stems, of all species of tree.
Cord wood always wanted.
We are also interested in tree surgey arisings (logs and chip).
The ultimate objective is to recycle as much as
possible and reduce waste.
We have hard standing and easy access.
The project will reduce tonnes of waste otherwise sent to landfill, the cost of doing so, and the associated green house gas emmissions.

Regeneration through coppicing is a traditional practice which benefits wildlife by letting more light onto the forest floor.
Touchwood manage a number of woodlands in the Southeast. The by-products of which, provide us with much sought after sustainable fuel, such as logs and charcoal thus reducing the need for imported fuels, such as oil.

These practices also provide the materials for much of our school and parkland work.

We coppice and manage our woodland and neighbouring woodlands to increase bio diversity and productivity by reinstating coppice.
The woodland is an educational tool which is used as a model for good woodland practice and sustainable production of materials. We are increasing care and positive use of woodlands.
